2018 POA Board Election Candidates

Electronic VotingElectronic Voting - October 1 - November 8, 2018

Your Quail Creek Homeowners Association is implementing a new, electronic voting system this fall that will enable you to cast your ballots in future HOA elections using your computer or other electronic devices - saving time, money and paper. The system, to debut in this fall's board member election, employs the services of VoteHOANow, a national vendor that specializes in online HOA-election management. More than 50 Arizona owner associations already use the company's system, which meets all legal requirements for HOA elections. Look for further information in Quail Creek Crossing and What's Happening on how you can access the benefits this change will provide, such as:

  • Quick, easy voting process - Step-by-step instructions
  • Access from anywhere
  • Privacy of secure, secret balloting
  • Eco-friendly approach

To vote electronically, a household must have an email address on record with the NorthStar system. Please note that there is one vote per household.

The invitation to vote was sent to the primary member on the account in the Northstar system. Accounts are set up with the primary member being the first person on the title of the property.

Paper ballots are available, upon request, from Debbie Deptula, QCPOA Admin Assistant, Madera Clubhouse, Concierge Desk.

2018 POA Board Election

Thank you for your interest in serving on the Property Owners Association Board of Directors at Quail Creek.

Please review the documents below to understand the expectations of an elected board member, qualifications as a candidate and guidelines for the election process.

POA Board Election Candidates

There are five POA Board members, two of whom are elected by the residents. These are two year terms and are staggered so that one of the positions is up for election each year. The annual election to fill one of the two resident-elected POA Board positions will be taking place in October/November. All elections - national, state or local - are important, but this one affects each homeowner in Quail Creek. The person elected will serve a two-year term representing all residents on the POA Board responsible for running our community and ensuring it continues to be the great place it is to live.

Candidates must be homeowners in good standing prior to the start of the current election calendar. It is recommended that the candidate be a full-time resident and have previously served on at least one Board authorized committee. POA Board members must be willing and are obligated to participate in all Board meetings and assignments, including serving as a liaison to various Board-appointed committees.
