Quail Creek News and Notes - January 24, 2018
A Monthly Message from General Manager Mike Taylor
Quail Creek News and Notes is a monthly newsletter to help you stay in touch with what’s going on in Quail Creek
Lookin’ Good in the Neighborhood!
The common areas along the loops and QC Crossing are getting a freshening up! You may see crews adding rock to cover bare spots and filling rodent and insect holes. We’re also repairing and painting common walls. Please tell us of any problem areas you know about. Just click on the Resident Concern/Comment Form and we will get on it!
New Home Sales Numbers
In 2017, 117 new homes were sold, 21 of which were villas. New neighbors bring new opportunities for friendships.
Resident Concern/Comment Form
Do you have a comment, concern, or suggestion for Quail Creek management?
Does something need repair or maintenance?
There is an easy way to contact us. Just click on the Resident Concern/Comment Form and tell us! We look at these daily. And we promptly handle your concerns. You can express opinions, describe issues, and ask questions. Please don’t assume we know about something if no one has brought it to our attention.
In 2015, when we first started using the form, we received one comment. In the first 29 months we had 68 requests. In the last five months, we had 104. Please help us spread the word - the form is the fastest way to communicate with us.
A Reflection on Safety
The safety of our residents is our highest priority. So, based on feedback from residents, we have purchased 25 reflectors to place at intersections to help make nighttime driving safer in Quail Creek. Watch for them to be installed soon.
The QC Community Services Patrol is on the Job!
Patrol Truck: 520.631.0075
The Quail Creek Community Services Patrol is vital to the safe, carefree lives we have here in Quail Creek. They operate the gatehouse, patrol all our the streets, check our vacant homes, enforce traffic rules, provide security, and ensure that our quiet, peaceful world remains quiet and peaceful.
Check out these interesting stats for 2017:
- 839,000 vehicles came through our gates.
- More than 15,000 vacation home watches were performed.
- 39 written citations were issued.
- 39 written warnings were issued.
- 259 verbal warnings were given.
To clarify a mistaken belief among some residents, citations do carry fines. So, please adhere to the speed limit and say “thank you” to the Patrol staff for the important job they do on our behalf.
The Mission Statement of the QC Community Services Patrol says it best:
“The mission of the Quail Creek Community Services Patrol staff members is to provide a superior level of professional and outstanding customer service that affirmatively promotes, preserves, and enhances a safe, secure, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, fellow employees and visitors of the Quail Creek Community. Our actions and community involvement demonstrate a tireless commitment to safety, security, and customer-service for those that live and visit here. We display professionalism and excellence in all we do and enjoy our role as ambassadors for Quail Creek.”
