Members of the Quail Creek Art Glass Club work with fused glass (also known as warm glass), stained glass, and mosaics to create a wide variety of art pieces. Samples of items made by Art Glass Club members can be seen in the Display Window at the Creative Arts & Technology Center (CATC) building.

You must attend both Part 1 and Part 2 of the Orientation Class before joining the Art Glass Club. There is a fee required to cover the cost of materials and supplies.

Orientation Part 1

Introduction to the QC Art Glass Club – Overview of Club Policies and Safety Procedures
Equipment Certification – 3 types of grinders and the ring saw


Orientation Part 2

Introduction to Glass Fusing
Morton Cutting System Demonstration
Create a 6x6 fused glass project using the Morton System & club tools
You will also receive enough glass and supplies to create an additional 6x6 fused glass project that you will be able to make during Open Studio hours

After completing both Parts of the Orientation Class, you will be able to join the club by completing the membership form and paying the Annual Membership
Dues.
