No. Whether you purchase a play card for 30 or 80 9-hole rounds or 15 or 40 18-hole rounds, both types of play cards are for the use by one household only with a limit of two (2). Both cards expire at the end of the calendar year.

HOW DOES A RANGE CARD FOR PRACTICE BALLS WORK?

CAN I PLAY ON THE GOLF COURSE AFTER THE PRO SHOP HAS CLOSED FOR THE DAY?

Yes and no. This is a seasonal issue. The Pro Shop is open until 4 PM October through April and can accommodate players through 4 PM due to the shorter days and lack of available daylight. Additionally, Outside Service (Ranger staff) is not equipped to accept payments during those months. However, in June, tee times are available after the Pro Shop closes at 2:00 PM during the summer months. On the day of play, the Pro Shop must be contacted to book tee times after 2:00 PM green fees paid prior to 2:00 PM with either a credit card, Member Card, or a check. Cash is not accepted. Tee times after 2:00 PM cannot be booked in advance but must be requested on the day of play.

WHAT IS THE CHELSEA SYSTEM?

The Chelsea on-line automated tee time system is the method by which you reserve your tee times on the three courses at Quail Creek, either by phone or accessing it through the POA website (under Golf/Chelsea Tee Times). You can make a reservation request 14 days prior to play but a booking reservation confirmation is made 5 days prior to playing. You can also observe the tee sheet for several days in advance of play to see if there are openings. Staff at the Pro Shop can assist you in how to use the Chelsea system.

HOW DO I COLLECT SHOP CREDIT I MAY HAVE WON IN ONE OF THE WEEKLY TOURNAMENTS?

Pro Shop credit is posted directly to the Robson resident member account after completion of each tournament. Credit may be redeemed in the Pro Shop for merchandise or for rounds of golf. It is important to remember that all shop credit must be used by the end of the calendar year or it will be lost. There is no cash involved, although you may convert your golf winnings to a gift card, after you have accumulated a minimum of $100 or add cash to your winnings to achieve a $100 minimum. The gift card can be used at the Quail Creek’s restaurant, Coffee bar, Madera clubhouse for events or for merchandise at the Pro Shop.

HOW DO I GET INSTRUCTION TO IMPROVE MY GOLF GAME?

WHAT DOES THE ADOPT-A-HOLE TEAM DO?

This committee is comprised of over 200 residents who take responsibility for a given hole to repair divots and ball marks on the greens on a regular basis. Each hole has a team captain. If interested, you can find the team captain for each hole on the POA Web Site by scrolling down on the Home task bar or contacting Richard Messer who is in charge of the Adopt-A-Hole team.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE GOLF COMMENT CARDS?
